We'll be using this page to keep you posted on the school closings.
Our official policy is as follows:
AWB follows the Northgate School District calendar.
If Northgate is closed or cancels school, AWB is closed.
If there is a 2 hour delay, AWB opens at 10am and morning preschool will be held from 10:30am to 12pm.
If there is a 10:30am Start, AWB will open at 10am and and morning preschool is cancelled.
The director and a few staff have been able to get into the facility to open at 8am on cold weather delay days for Drop-In care. This may not always be the case. **Please call before you come and check the school answering machine for a message regarding our opening times.**
If it is dangerously cold or icy/snowy and you feel it would be a risk to take your children out, please keep them safely at home even if we are able to open.
